Nourish the North Celebration!

The Finland Food Chain and North Shore AgroEcology Center would like to invite you for a final celebration and review of our Nourish the North workshop series! This series covered seed starting, foraging, mushroom cultivation, beekeeping, orchard management, meat processing, food preservation and much more. We want to thank everyone who has led and participated in these workshops and to get input on what to prioritize moving forward, so we invite you to join us for a lunch and discussion. All are welcome!

This program was funded through a generous grant from the Laura Jane Musser Foundation. Your participation in a discussion and final survey will be instrumental in helping us decide where to go from here and help secure funding for future workshops and other free educational opportunities for current and potential food producers in our community. If you can’t make it to the event in person, we would love to get your feedback through our final survey.

Lunch will be provided! We will serve a BBQ sandwich bar prepared by Dan Cahill Mathews of Baptism River Barbecue Co with local Yker Acres meats.
