Jumpstart Your Garden This Season! 🌱
Give your plants the best possible start and set your garden up for success. In this practical, hands-on session, you’ll learn simple strategies that help young plants grow stronger, faster, and more resilient.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Start vigorous, healthy seedlings that thrive from day one
- Reduce transplant shock so plants establish quickly
- Encourage deep, robust root systems for long-term growth
- Use row cover to protect plants from late spring frosts and pests

Instructor:
Sarah Mayer, Farm Manager at Wolf Ridge Farm, entering her 8th season growing vegetables in Northeast Minnesota. Sarah brings years of hands-on experience starting thousands of seedlings each season and adapting growing techniques to the unique conditions of the North Shore.
