Farm & Forest Growers Field Day

Come to Finland, MN, to join the Farm & Forest Growers Cooperative to talk about Climate Smart Tree Seedling production. We will discuss why climate smart trees are an important contribution to reforestation efforts in northern Minnesota, visit three different growing operations in the Finland area, and talk about all the ways people can get involved, either as a grower, seed collector, or tree buyer. We will start at the AgroEcology Center, then visit Round River Farm and then Maxwell’s Nursery, all a short drive from each other.

You are welcome to stay after the main event if you would like to take a tour of the North Shore AgroEcology Center, where the event is being hosted. Coffee, tea, and light lunch snacks will be provided.
