Wild Edibles Nature Walk

May 18 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

Are you interested in learning about the wild plants that grow around us? There are many local plants that can provide us with food, medicine, and utility. Join this Sunday afternoon outing with Kaare Melby to learn when, where, and how to identify, harvest, and process many local plants.

This is a great way to learn and practice identifying the spring wild plants explained in The Gathering Cycle of the Year in NE Minnesota with a local expert and guide, right in our backyard.

We will meet at the Superior Hiking Trailhead on Little Marais Rd, close to the Crystal Bay Cemetery. Google Maps pin here.

This is a free class made possible by the Finland Food Chain, North Shore AgroEcology Center, and a generous grant from the Laura Jane Musser Foundation.

*If you are having issues with online registration, please email farmmanager@organicconsumers.org to register.
