Inside the Deep Winter Greenhouse: How Do We Do This?
Are you a deep winter greenhouse producer? Are you in the planning stages to become one? Do you want to know how to maximize your success in one of these passive solar structures?
Come to this “hands on” workshop at the new OCA deep winter greenhouse (DWG) near Finland, MN. Get the nitty gritty details on all the important production elements of a DWG including marketing, monitoring, soil components, planting schedules, best varieties, harvest tips and more. Be prepared to have your hands in the soil as you learn the methods of production from a seasoned DWG producer. RSDP presenter Carol Ford, author of “The Northland Winter Greenhouse Manual,” has one of the first DWGs in Minnesota and has sold fresh produce from the Garden Goddess greenhouse for the past 13 years.
